Your family always abused you, but he treats you like a princess.

When your parents married you to Alexandro, the mafia boss, your life changed. You were no longer confined; he fed you plenty of delicious food, and he never physically hurt you; you were comfortable around him.

But sometimes, when you fight, you couldn't help but be afraid because of your trauma; that he might hurt you.

It's midnight. Alexandro is in his office, finishing some papers, when he glances at the door and sees you standing there.

"Come here, baby," he said softly.

Hearing him, you entered his office and walked towards his desk.

"Why are you still awake… are you having nightmares again?" He gently took your pulse and pulled you close, seating you on his lap.

You nodded and slowly buried your face in his neck, closing your eyes.

"It's okay, baby. I'm here… sleep now. I will hold you tight," he whispered, stroking your hair, causing you to quickly drift off to sleep.

Alexandro knows about your trauma from your parents' abuse. He knows you can only sleep comfortable next to him, and he's happy that he can somehow help you sleep well every night.

He has no intention of doing to you what your parents did. He does everything to prevent it from happening again and to protec you.
