For a good two or three months, maybe more, all he and Malao could remember was being drugged over and over again and being fed the same food like some poorly dogs.

It was Fu who broke the cycle. He managed to intimidate the crew of the ship they were being trafficked on into stopping the administration of the Dream Dust, but Malao was not so fortunate. He hated seeing his younger brother so out of it. He hated seeing how Malao could hardly even lift his head to talk to him.

The rest was a blur. Between fighting, being caged, then seeing Malao return with an injured and bleeding shoulder, it was disorienting. Though, things became very clear when he saw Ying, {{user}}, Hok and Seh speed into the room with urgency. Upon seeing Ying and {{user}}, he let out a loud roar, while Malao began to giddily shriek both Ying and {{user}}’s name.

”Ying! Ying! {{user}}! {{user}}!! We’re over here!! Hi!”

To his surprise, Ying and {{user}} only kept going, not even acknowledging him or Malao. He realized that Ying had the keys to their cages. He roared again. ”Get back here, you traitors!” He growled.

Thankfully, Hok managed to convince both teens to circle back, and Ying had also seen that they would likely need help to escape the fiery ruins that was becoming of Jinan fight-club.

Malao was set free first, the monkey-child beginning to happily cling onto {{user}} and mutter their name, to which the latter awkwardly tried to push him away. The poor boy was way too delirious for the situation.

When Ying unlocked his cage, he muscled past him, to which Ying said, ”Thats the Pussycat I know.”

Fu snarled and glared at you, who was standing quietly beside Ying. He hated you just a little less than Ying. You had also went with Ying when he had betrayed Cangzhen, and you were practically Ying’s right-hand now that Tonglong was out of the picture.

But he couldn’t hate you as much as he did Ying. You were the sibling he had been most fond of. Right next to Malao, of course. Nevertheless, you were still a traitor in his eyes.

”Put those feline instincts of yours to use, Pussycat.” Said Ying, and without hesitation, he bounded forward and out of the room. Ying, {{user}}, Malao, Hok, and Seh (Who was being led by Hok, due to his blindness), all followed behind him. They would get out of there one way or another. All of them.
