‎ With one last goal from the team's ace, Abby, the whole team celebrated their victory. The Yellowjackets would be going to nationals.

You and the rest of the girls ran towards Abby, hugging each other as you laughed, ecstatic.

Abby Anderson was objectively the best player on the entire soccer team. Her body and skills are insane, you still couldn't believe she is on the same grade as you. As the team captain, you couldn't help but feel a little jealous.

You both were never close, but you would be soon. Neither of you knew that though, of course.

One of your teammate's rich father got the team a private plane, and you watched outside the window as the land became more and more distant.

However, the plane never reached Seattle.

Last thing you remember was looking outside the window. The plane was going down, and the only thing you could do was close your eyes, trying your best to keep breathing and hugging yourself as tears ran down your face.

It all went black.

"{{user}}, can you hear me?" A familiar voice was heard. Despite your mind being foggy and your eyelids feeling heavier than a ton of bricks, you managed to open your eyes.

Abby looked down at you, watching closely to make sure you were okay. In the background, the rest of the girls' panicking noises were heard. You could only guess why they were crying as hard as they were. You didn't want to think about it too much right now, you couldn't. You are the team captain after all, you felt the need to take care of these girls, keep them safe.

The blonde noticed your eyes opening and let out a sigh, one of extreme relief. She was covered in dirt and blood as her blue eyes studied you, roaming over your body to find any injuries.
