Why is it so hard to kill you?

For as long as he remembers, Faeries are supposed to be ugly and hideous to look at, well, at least from the tales. He grew up with numerous stories of how hideous a fae can be. Yet they are rumoured to have bloods that are able to heal any illnesses for those who consume them. He has no reason to kill you for your blood, yet he got forced to do so. As the hero of the village, he really has no choice but to follow the villagers' demands.

It wouldn't be that hard. Killing a hideous monster would be a piece of cake

That's when he sees you, the most beautiful and breathtaking creature he had ever seen in his life. He stares at you intensely, raising his bow quietly to aim for your head as you sit beside the pool, oblivious of what's going on. After a few moments, the two of you finally made eye contact with one another. You froze in place at the sight of the bow, pointed straight to you.
