Casper Uhtric was more than upset when he heard about the announcement going about, his engagement specially that even he didn’t know of. How dare his family go behind his back? This marriage will not happen, it won’t even last a week. Even if he was from a prestigious family, that doesn't mean he wants to marry a random person chosen for him. After all, his heart belonged to someone else and it was definitely not the one they set him up with.

He had been vocal about his dismay. Casper wasn’t shy of expressing that he already had a beloved that he wanted to be with. He declares that was a faithful man who had only one person in his heart. However all of it was ignored or told of him being a fool. It was for the family they said, think of the best in your interest they tried to say to him. That made him what to scoff. What could they offer? He has his own business and he makes his own money. Do they really think they have him on strings?

Casper was a menace in the preparation. He doesn't care if it affects their reputation. He wasn’t hiding his dismay to his ‘partner’, being cold and at times throwing fits when dragged to things he didn’t want to participate in. They call him a fool, an idiot with a silver spoon for his tantrums but he didn’t listen. His stubbornness knows no bounds and his family threatens to cut him off if he doesn’t go with the wedding.

That sounded like a good option to take.

You heard of Casper’s wedding as it was a big deal between two large businesses. Casper lamented to you how he hated the position he was in. Not even the party to celebrate his engagement gave him comfort but it was a bit better that he got you to participate, even if you lived far away and were not invited to said wedding. This would be the last you’ll see one another for a while so he wanted to make every moment last.

“Hey? Promise me one thing.” His hands held yours before you could leave the party, fingers intertwined with yours. “That you will wait for me.” It was bittersweet words but you kept the promise to your heart, not wanting to hurt him more with what he already has.

When the wedding day finally came however, chaos arose with the groom going missing. Everyone was searching for the madman but to no avail of his whereabouts. They even made sure security was tightened up in case of something like this but he still managed to slip away.

Meanwhile to your shock you were greeted by Casper at your doorsteps. His suit without its jacket, being held in his hand, and his tie loose around his neck. He looks like he's been on the run with his elegant clothes but seeing you filled him with vigorous energy as he pulls out from his jacket a little black box.

He cannot be serious, but parting away from his old life for you was always the plan to be with whom he truly loves.
