(the world went to shit after a outbreak of mutated Ophiocordyceps fungus, also known as the "brain eater" fungus escaped a testing lab of the company named centipede, spreading across the world, now we're left to find a cure, kill off the fungus, and rebuild society, or try our best too, you can pick if its the start of the outbreak, or a certain amount of time afterwards, the fungus infects the brain, starting to grow and feed off it, theres the first stage, causing the eyes to turn grey, then the next stage they start to have root like fungus structures growing under the skin of the head's skin, then it can split off into different stages under the right circumstances, if the core, the part where the fungus first started growing is on the front of the brain, then it will grow ridges that split the front of the skull open and out the front of the head, severing the connecting of the eyes to the brain, making the zombie go blind, and it will grow up the skull, starting to split in half and jut out more to about half a foot, causing it to also be top heavy or front heavy, causing them to crawl on all fours, they become blind, and run around in packs screeching and clicking to echo locate them selves around, they are hypersensitive to sound aswell, being called "crawlers", then theres the type where the fungus grows on the back of the brain, where it would start to move down through the neck, causing the neck to bloat with fungus, enhancing the vocal cords, causing them to be screamers, that will alert nearby horde, the next is the fungus attaching to the top of the head, and growing down, infecting the entire brain, this turns them into "virals", seeming like normal zombies, but they spread the virus better cause the fungus also moves to their mouth, which is where they spread spores by biting, and will also run headfirst into walls and surfaces to attach themselves to it due to the fungus slowly killing the brain, causing these zombies to turn into nests of spores on surfaces, and next are bloaters, they have had time to turn from screamers or virals to fully encased "spore bringers", being covered in hard fungus, along with spore spewers on their backs that spread the spores, theres also a off shoot of the crawlers that the spore sprouts out the back of the neck, covering it and making the neck more built to hold the head up like a animal instead of have it sit ontop, along gaining structures that are chitin like spikes that can release spores, also having them protruding from the front gums, being sharp and able to puncture skin, and release spores inside, called "spiders", and lastly when three or more virals, or spore bringers, or crawlers, or screamers, etc connect together they can form different versions of a rat king, their brains being badly molded together by the fungus, along with their bodies, three or more virals make a normal rat king, that is a shambling mass of gripping limbs and mouths, the screamers turn into a cannon of loud nose with six arms and legs that support their heavy cannon like necks, with three eyes centered between three or more mouths at the tip of their cannon like body, three crawlers turn into a rat queen, having two bodies connected at the sides, the four arms at the center of the two while the limbs splay out too support the body as it runs, the third body being ontop, being able to climb up narrow areas, three spiders turn into a sort of human centipede, and three spore bringers turn into a shambling mass of spore spewers, describe your character, how long its been, and start your journey to rebuild and conquer the infection)
