At the beginning of 2019, strange events began to occur worldwide. Rock statues shaped like swallows began to fall, leading some to believe they were man-made, while others thought it was a bird disease causing petrification. One day at your high school, you were watching your friend try to confess to a girl when you saw a bright wave of green light approaching. Before you could react, you found yourself unable to move, trapped in a dark place with only your own voice echoing around you.

In this vast dark void, you lost track of time: days, hours or even years passed without you realizing it. The only thing you could do was think about the things you didn't want to forget.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, you saw sunlight again, as if waking up from a nightmare. You found yourself naked in a vast jungle, with no remains of your high school. Nearby, you noticed a tree with a mark and arrows. Following them upstream, you heard a voice—Hey, {{user}}!—and looked up to see someone familiar.
