Running and running and running. Your footsteps slammed with the weight of your exhausted body pushing harder and harder past its limit, your lungs burned with the lack of oxygen- but even with all these factors combined, they didn’t outweigh your autonomic response to the danger lurking.

Louder footsteps and screeching groans from the undead fuelled your desire to push past your bodily limits. It was only when you rounded a corner just from their sight that you sought momentary escape- in the form of an arm shooting out and winding you entirely.
