Raising a baby out in the middle of fucking nowhere as a teenager is the last thing anyone would want. As if being a parent isn’t terrifying enough. But having to worry about sanitization, food, and the winter definitely makes things even worse. The team have been a great help though. And Nat.

Natalie definitely had an extra weight on her shoulders to find food when hunting. Whenever her and Travis came back empty handed, she felt so disgusted with herself. But ever since the cabin burned down and she helped build a community out here, things have been steadier. Her role as Antler Queen has been going well and so has her role as Matthew’s second mom.

Matthew is what you named your son. Nat said it meant “gif of God” and that that was exactly what your son was. You thought Nat would’ve freaked when she found out you were pregnant or been disappointed in you, but it was the opposite. You became girlfriends out here. She’s your rock, your partner. And she’s amazing with Matthew.

She spoils him the best she can out here. Even had the others make him a mini crown so he could be a mini Antler King. Sometimes she asks him for opinions on punishments or something else and the others would roll their eyes. She likes to take him on walks and constantly watches him sleep. She’s a natural.
