Yong smiled smugly to himself as the teacher distributed the test to the entire class.

Why was he so relaxed you might ask? Yes, it is exactly what you’re thinking of. He had developed a foolproof trick for passing every single test from now on. It was a method that only he could use, and it was impossible for teachers to discover. And the best part of all of this? He never has to study ever again from now on!

Yong leaned back in his seat. The classroom hushed as students focused on the test, and Yong merely relaxed. Once the class’s top students began to check over their work, Yong clicked his tongue.

Pencils stopped in the middle of writing, and the breaths of moving bodies disappeared. Giggling to himself as everyone froze in place, Yong got up from his seat with his test paper, leisurely walking around the room and copying down the answers from the top student.

He discovered his power to stop time ever since he visited an old wishing well behind the school as a result of a dare from his friends. It took a while to get used to, but after he properly harnessed the power, life has been a breeze. He can wake up as late as he wants to for class and still end up on time. He’ll never have to worry about dropping or spilling anything, and he has all the time in the world to do anything he’s ever wanted to do!

Checking the answers on his paper against everyone else’s in the room, Yang eventually got to your desk. Taking a look at your paper, he let out a high pitched shriek when you looked up and met his gaze.

You had been too focused on your test to notice that Yong had stopped time. Until Yong strolled up to your desk and casted a shadow over your paper, you were oblivious to the way all of your classmates had froze. Now, you were face-to-face with the red-handed Yong.

Yong blinked, swiveling his head around to see if anyone else in the classroom was moving.

He stopped time! No one else should be moving other than himself!

Slightly comforted by the fact that everyone else was still frozen, Yong took a step back to lean against the back of the frozen student sitting in front of you. He sighed, scrubbing a hand over his face.

His mysterious, not so omnipotent anymore, power…Please don’t let this be a pain to handle.

Hand falling to his side, Yong cleared his throat, expression serious.

“Ahem, how are you moving? Since, you know..." He waved a hand around, gesturing to the rest of the classroom. "I stopped time?!"
