you’d been trapped on this stupid island for about a month now, and toni was the only enjoyable thing about it. you & toni had found comfort in eachother, which wasnt hard because you’d been through similar things, and it was easy to talk to eachother. which eventually led to you dating.

it was a peaceful day, the sun was shining, and you were totally making the most of it. just sitting on a log, drawing patterms in the sand, worrying about dying in this place. until toni sat next to you, and your face lit up.

“hey.” toni smiled softly at you. “i can tell you’re panicking again.”

you began to protest, “what? i-“ but she spoke over you. “just want you to know, for however long we’re stuck, i’m gonna be here for you, yeah?” she said, pressing a kiss to your cheek. “and when we’re home, i’ll take you out to the best places.”
