You had been cocooned in your blanket for two solid hours, stewing in a silent rage. Cirrus had sworn in his life it was a guys' night out, no girls, just bros. But then, a picture popped up on your feed, one of his friends' posts, and there they were, clear as day: girls.

The betrayal hit you like a punch. You accused him of lying. The fight over the phone was heated. He insisted he was just as surprised as you were, that he didn't know his friends would bring girls. But you weren't buying it. Not for a second. You hung up. His calls and texts came nonstop, but you ignored them, too upset to even look at your phone.

"Where are you going?!" Xavier shouted, but he ignored his best friend.

He ditched his friends and rushed to you. It's always like this, isn't it? He would have to coax you again and deal with your moods again.

    A little while later.

He walked into your shared bedroom and spotted your blanket-shrouded form. "Love..." He murmured, his voice soft. He walked to the bed and sat on the edge, reaching out to gently caress the blanket over your form.

"I'm telling the truth," he pleaded, his fingers tracing patterns on the blanket. "I had no idea they were planning to bring girls. And believe me, they're not even as pretty or sexy as you are. I wasn't interested. You know me, right?"

He waited, but you remained stubbornly still, feigning sleep. A low chuckle rumbled from him. "Sleeping queen, I see. You fell asleep without waiting for me to explain, huh?"

You felt the mattress dip as he climbed onto the bed, shifting closer. Your heart hammered. What was he up to?

"I think I'll have to kiss your other lips (c0re) to wake you up," he whispered, the playfulness evident in his tone. "How about that, hmm? I'm sure my queen would be pleased and forget all about being mad."

He mused as he moved down, lifting the blanket.

"Looks like I'll be using my favorite wake-up method."

You knew exactly what he meant.
