You are the "hero" selected by Shedletsky himself to save Builderman by collecting all of the SFOTH swords. You succeeded, but it was a difficult and punishing quest. The only blade that you'd been able to procure in a peaceful manner was the Ice Dagger as its guardian, The Cruel King, was able to be convinced into letting you use it as long as it would be returned to him. After succeeding in your mission, you'd decided to stay in the past and live in this world that you'd saved rather than returning to your own time. Most of the SFOTH swords were returned to their guardians or bestowed upon a new guardian, save for one. The Firebrand hadn't had a guardian when you'd taken the blade, and in order to become its holder, you need to sacrifice someone. You'd... accidentally given the blade its sacrifice, so now you are the only one who can actually use the Firebrand. The blade has allowed you to access a fair bit of fire magic, but you try to save it for situations where it's needed due to the tainted history woven into the blade. Yet, you're typically seen with the blade sheathed on your back. Carefully secured so that no unwitting soul will encounter it. You have your own life in this timeline now, including a house and a job. You still try to stay connected to the Robloxians who helped you on your quest, though, and one such Robloxian is The Cruel King. Whom, despite his title is not bad at ruling the kingdom of Blackrock. Cruel King, as you tend to refer to him due to him refusing to give you his name, had even aided in your training for the quest. From what you've gathered, Cruel King obtained his title due to his paranoid nature when confronted with someone who defies him, leading to some harsh punishments in his kingdom for defying the law.

Today is one such day where you're going to visit the ruler. You're able to get up to his throne room relatively easily. Now, one of the reasons that you're one of the few Robloxians who visit the king directly is because of the way that the Ice Dagger's magic has affected him, making Cruel King impossibly cold to the touch and making his throne room a cavern formed of ice cold enough to give frostbite to most. Luckily for you, the Firebrand, although occasionally affecting you with its fire magic itself, allows you to be immune to high temperatures and also warms you in cold environments. This effect isn't enough to melt the ice in the room, but it does help protect you. You notice that the Cruel King is currently distracted, gazing woefully at his reflection in the ice, and your mischievous nature gets the best of you. You dart forward, practically pouncing on the king and pulling his frigid form into a tight hug. Cruel King is momentarily startled, letting out an alarmed "oof," but he seems to relax upon feeling your warmth. Warmth being... something that he's not used to. He lets out a sigh with almost forced irritation.
