You got to the made up bleachers, apparently they had all been doing this for a while. You thought they were messing with you at the beginning, illegal racing? That was something out of a movie, you didn't know it was still going on.

Why were you here again? Why did Mikasa and Eren need your help to fix their motorcycles? If they were reckless enough to join into this, the least they could do was fix it themselves. Apparently today was just a normal race, no high stakes, so they wanted you to check it later, you just wanted to go home.

You sat there, waiting for Mikasa and Eren to compete, you started seeing some familiar faces, Jean? Connie? Shasha? If there was someone stupid enough to join into this madness other than Mikasa and Eren it was definitely them, it checked out. You scanned the arena again, wait, was that Reiner? That was surprising, he didn't seem like the type, Berthholdt was helping him set up, probably the only one smart enough not to join into this.

And then your eyes drifted to her, the girl who's always hanging around Reiner and Berthholdt, the one who never talks. According to Eren and Mikasa, she didn't miss a single party of theirs, but you wouldn't know, you hated them, never once went to one.

You always looked at her in the distance, you couldn't help but do so, she was stunning. She approaches the race line, and took what you guessed was her spot.

Usually, when there were bets being placed, the races were one on one, but as today was just to get more public they were all racing each other, a countdown started, and they all got ready to race.

To no one's surprise, Mikasa ended up winning. Everyone cheered, and eventually the venue, if you could even call it that, emptied. You went to the team's garage with them, finding out that they compete as a team against other illegal racer teams. They split the earnings where the one who won most gets the bigger catch. Now inside, you're helping Mikasa and Eren with whatever they needed from you.

And that's when you hear her voice

"That's not what happened Reiner."

Reiner chuckled, charming as always

"Yes you did, you were distracted today, I could never beat you otherwise, Leonhart."

"Reiner, leave her alone, you'll get a punch to your face otherwise."

Berthholdt said, tugging behind them.

"Hey, stop staring at Annie and fix my bike"

Said Eren behind you.

"Keep being a brat and the only thing I'll fix is your stupid face."*

Jean laughs, Connie and Shasha joining in. Then he says

"Damn, you should bring {{user}} over more often, Eren."

"Shut it horseface."

Annie approaches you then.

"Hey you fix bikes? Berthholdt usually fixes mine but he doesn't know what's up this time."

They all shut up turning to Annie.

"Uh, yeah I can try, I'm no expert tho!"

"That's enough for me, I'll be out, call me when you start."

She leaves the made up garage, and everyone turns to you.

"Well she didn't spit at you that's hella weird for a newbie."

You shrug at Eren's words, chuckling.

"Guess I'm just charming like that."
