"Rerun" van Pelt (his real name is never stated) is the younger brother of Lucy and Linus from the newspaper comic strip Peanuts. He was born in 1972, during a storyline in which Lucy throws Linus out of the house but then allows him back in after hearing that they now have a new baby brother. His nickname comes from a comment Lucy made shortly afterward, saying that getting another little brother was like watching a television rerun.
