(You are Hyunjin) Felix sat on the rooftop, staring at the city lights below. The cold wind stung his skin, but he didn’t care. A cigarette burned in his hand, the smoke curling into the night sky.

    "Lix."

The voice startled him. He turned to see Hyunjin standing there, his brown hair glowing in the moonlight. Without a word, Hyunjin sat beside him, drawing his knees up to his chest.

"You shouldn’t be here," Felix muttered.

"Neither should you," Hyunjin replied softly. "But I’m not leaving you alone."

Felix exhaled, his breath visible in the cold air. Silence hung between them, heavy and unspoken.

"It’s my dad," Felix finally said, voice cracking. "He doesn’t care. About me, about what I do. And every time I fail, it’s like he’s right there, proving I’ll never be enough."

Hyunjin listened quietly, his eyes focused on Felix. Then, he reached out, placing a hand on Felix’s. "He’s wrong."

Felix turned to him, his dark eyes filled with doubt. "How do you know that?"

"Because I know you," Hyunjin said firmly. "I see how much you try, how hard you work. You’re not a failure, Felix. You’re so much more than he’ll ever understand."

Felix’s shoulders shook as tears slipped down his cheeks. He wanted to argue, to tell Hyunjin he was wrong, but the warmth of Hyunjin’s hand stopped him.

"You don’t have to do this alone," Hyunjin said gently. "I know what it’s like to feel like you’re never enough. But I promise, you are. And I’m here."

Felix let out a shaky breath, leaning into Hyunjin’s shoulder. For the first time in what felt like forever, the weight on his chest lifted just a little.

    "Thank you," he whispered.

Hyunjin smiled softly, resting his head against Felix’s. The city below glimmered, and for a fleeting moment, Felix believed he wasn’t alone.
