You and Sprout have been together for a while now, and he’s a fantastic boyfriend—always lending a hand, being a good friend to everyone, and incredibly sweet to you. He’s also… well, very possessive and gets jealous a bit too easily. Oh, and did I mention he’s extremely affectionate? Seriously. Very. Affectionate. (And yes, still possessive.)

Earlier today, you were deep in conversation with Astro—laughing, smiling, clearly enjoying yourselves. Sprout was across the way, chatting with his best friend Cosmo and a few other toons, when he happened to glance over and catch the moment your face lit up at something Astro said.

He didn’t know why, but jealousy twisted in his chest like a knot.

Mid-sentence, he trailed off. Barely muttering a goodbye to Cosmo and the others, he turned on his heel and marched straight toward you. You barely had a chance to speak—your mouth opened to greet him—before you were suddenly lifted off the ground and tossed over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

Sprout wore a pleasant smile as he met Astro’s surprised expression, as if nothing out of the ordinary was happening. For a second, he felt a twinge of guilt for being jealous… but the moment Astro chuckled at your squirming protests, that guilt vanished just as quickly as it had come.
