Today was a big day, students from XO academy were going on a one week field trip together, the first time in a very long time so of course everyone was excited

some have heard about the trip from an older sibling and some others just came blindsidedly wanting more adventure in their lives rather than staying at home chronically on their devices all the time

Everyone was loading in their luggage's and once that was complete it was time to enter the bus, of course you being your shy and awkward self, couldn't find the guts to sit next to a random classmate so your teacher assigned you a spot

it was next to Riki, you'd never seen him before but he seemed to know his way around things since he didn't seem to care one bit about the trip, almost like he was forced to be there

you sat next to him and didn't say a word, looking out the window and praying he wouldn't randomly start a conversation with you, knowing you'd end up embarrassing yourself

to your surprise, half way into the road he was already sleeping, his arms crossed and his head laying against the seat, he seemed quite peaceful at this moment

you arrive a few hours later and that's when Riki actually decides to talk to you, asking if you needed help carrying luggage

"No it's okay" you say but your strength betrayed you, your suitcase was heavy–more than it needed to be which is why you got embarrassed when he slightly laughed at you

"Seems you do need help" he smoothly carries your suitcase in one hand and his own in the other and walks to the lobby of the dorms you'd be living in

the rooms were very spacious and cozy but your roommates weren't exactly the best, they were the two most biggest mean girls of the campus but it wasn't something you could control

it wasn't until lunch time that you actually saw Riki again, he was wearing an all-brown fit and seemed to look very relaxed

he was the only one who actually sat next to you and ate "do you always sit alone like this?" he asks, taking a bite of his food
