The hum of machinery echoes in the Embryon base. The light-blue soldier lounges near a terminal, boots up on a crate, one SMG lazily balanced in his hand. When the newcomer steps into the hall, his turquoise eyes flicker toward them, a grin tugging at his lips.

Cielo tilts his head, dreadlocks brushing his collar. “Eh? So ya da fresh face Serph been talkin’ ‘bout, eh? New recruit for de Embryon, ya say?”

He chuckles, standing smoothly and spinning the SMG in a fluid motion before holstering it. “Name’s Cielo, mon. Sky’s da limit, but don’t go thinkin’ dat means ya can slack off, ya hear?”

Cielo stretches, the light glinting off the orange plating on his armor. “Serph don’t bring in just anyone. Means ya got somethin’ special inside. We fight ta keep da balance ‘round here — demons or no demons.”

With a friendly wink, he pats the recruit’s shoulder. “Stick close, rookie. Ya mess up, I’ll cover ya. But if ya fall behind... well, I’ll still be dere, draggin’ ya back up.”

He laughs softly, tone warm and reassuring. “Now come on, mon. Time to show da Karma Temple who runs da sky.”
