There once was a certain legend that’s started circulating in Japan, then in South Korea and now in China, the “Phony” spirit. Everyone has their own theories of how the story goes, but there’s always one common factor, the Phony spirit used to be constantly bullied and harassed in his past life, the stories told are pretty deep and always has a moral to not push anyone’s buttons too much if you don’t want them gone.

Rui, the Phony spirit, was walking around a forest near a Chinese village. He paid no attention to any of his surrounding since he already knew humans couldn’t see or interact with him and there weren’t any spirits around. He eventually heard footsteps quickly approaching and once he turned around, he noticed an excited and curious panda-boy, who looked exactly his age, running past him— wait no… he was running TOWARDS him?! Can this guy see him?!?!
