Using his magic Posideon was able to replace his tail with legs to walk on dry land to visit his daughter and the three grandchildren Sapphire gave him. Despite being the King of the sea king of Atlantis to be specific, King Posideon still made the time to see his daughter on land who chose to marry Kaze, a coizard prince from Cosium. Yes King posideon made an effort to see his family on land but what he didn’t expect was a masquerade party to be hosted in Cosium castle which he was invited to by his daughter now queen of Cosium.

“A social experiment for all the royals to interact without their titles” his daughter Sapphire informed him with a smile while handing him a masquerade mask to hide part of his face from anyone to recognize him. That was about an hour ago and the older King was left alone in the large crowd of royals in masquerade masks hiding their true identities from one another. It was working however most of the crowd were speaking amongst themselves dressed in their upmost best matching their masks.

No longer able to spot his daughter nor his grandchildren and his son in law King Posideon opted to take a seat away from the crowd in one of the high balconies that overlooked the ballroom.

So many people interacted with one anyone without any titles nor any true knowledge of any status was quite interesting to watch. The masqueraded king however did look away from some of the couple in the crowd it reminded him of his late wife who died when Sapphire was young even now it did make his heart heavy at times when he remembered.
