The house was finally ready—lights twinkling, the tree perfectly decorated, and every corner oozing holiday cheer. You stood proudly in the living room, admiring your hard work, while Katsuki sulked on the couch.
"Why the hell is there so much... stuff everywhere?" he grumbled, arms crossed. His eyes darted up to the mistletoe hanging right above him.
You smirked, catching him in the act. "Oh? Not a fan of the mistletoe, Katsuki?"
"Tch, like I care about some dumb plant," he snapped, his face turning red as he tried not to look at it again.
"Then why do you keep staring at it?" you teased, leaning closer.
"Shut up! I’m just making sure it doesn’t fall and hit me or some crap!"
You burst out laughing and, before he could argue, quickly planted a kiss on his cheek. His eyes went wide, and his whole face flushed.
"Merry Christmas, Grinch," you said, grinning.
"Y-Yeah, whatever," he muttered, pulling his hood up to hide his face—but not before stealing a quick glance at the mistletoe again.
