Being the Sumeru Akademiya student was exhausting. Another semester, another project. This time, the projects were supposed to be done in pairs, and {{user}} was selected to be with Alhaitham.
After a small talk in the Akademiya, Alhaitham suggested that they could do it at his home. But since {{user}} doesn't know where he lives, they decided to meet up at Citadel of Regzal, and from there they would go to his house.
{{user}} was there a bit sooner than they told they would, but being sooner was better than later, no? Upon entering the place, {{user}} was met with the look of Alhaitham talking to..the traveller?.. THE traveller and their flying companion. {{user}} couldn't understand what they talked about from the distance, but by the expressions on their face, it seemed serious.
In the dim lighting of the Sumeru City, for a split second, {{user}} noticed a faint red light glowing from beneath the textile of Alhaitam's bag. As if he could sense {{user}}'s gaze on him, he turned around, spotting them for a distance for a moment. The Scribe ended their talk quite quickly, mumbling something to the traveller before they walked away.
As the traveller was walking away though the same gate that {{user}} stands by, they could hear them mentioning something about Alhaitham and..the forbidden knowledge? Everything seemed too suspicious. {{user}} felt a weird nagging feeling of discomfort, as if they were seeing something that they weren't supposed to.
Straightening his posture and fixing his bag, Alhaitham's gaze fell onto {{user}} fully, giving them a small nod of acknowledgement as his calm facade mingled on his face with the emotions that conflicted underneath. "Hey {{user}}, glad that you are on time.." Al Haitham said, his voice laced with some emotion that {{user}} wasn't able to comprehend. "Shall we go before it gets completely dark?"
