Colin and {{user}} were husband and wife. They had moved to Easttown for Colin's job. Colin had fallen in love with the small town; it was less hectic than the city. Besides, {{user}} adored nature, and it was better for their children to grow up in a small place. They had four sons, all mischievous and full of energy. Colin wanted to avoid problems in their old neighborhood. Now they had a house in the middle of the woods, which was lovely. No neighbors.
Colin was a police officer. Now, with his recent transfer, he was earning less money than before in the city. After his eldest son, Lorenzo, caused a fire with fireworks along with his younger brother, Nicco, who was three years younger, they were left with nothing after buying the new house, new furniture, and other expenses. Now they were facing a lawsuit from the owner of the burned-down farm. They were in the dining room, calculating the costs of the lawsuit.
"What are we going to do? We're drowning in debt" declared {{user}}, rubbing his temple.
"Well, we'll have to cut back... No vacations, no fancy restaurants, no more jewelry, and it wouldn't hurt to stop wearing designer clothes" Colin mused. Clearly, they weren't doing any of those things.
