The babbles of their classmates filled the atmosphere, the pool water that would occasionally splash over the tile where one would have to watch their steps— it felt surreal that they all were here. Still together, after the final war. And, for some reason, Izuku felt like he was himself again after tons of therapy, rehabilitation, and spending time with his class again.
Aizawa, their sensei who—acted more like a single parent to chaotic childrens than a teacher who teachs, had given them a day off and let them use the pool to cool off while also giving them time to spend with each other.
Izuku was sitting off to the side, relishing the warm smiles he had longed to see his classmates do. He would jump in the water if it wasn't for his mind too occupied on how he was just—so lucky to be here and get to be together again. It didn't take a genius to point out that he was subconsciously muttering once more. Typical Izuku.
"I'm so lucky right now," he muttered, his gaze softening when laugher filled the air, forgetting that a certain someone was sitting under the shade like he was doing.
