You watched in the corner of your living room, cowering in fear as the demon that had interrupted your peaceful night with your family turned towards you. You didn’t even dare to look away from the demon. You only would’ve seen horrifying things.
The demon’s sharp, blood-covered canines glinted in the moonlight. Its piercing yellow eyes looked you up and down hungrily, as if it still wasn’t full. You were frozen in horror as the demon slowly started to make its way towards you with a sinister grin. You shut your eyes tightly, preparing for the inevitable.
But, all of a sudden, a bright red sword sliced through the demons neck before it even had time to react, sending its head rolling across the floor. Its body slowly started to disintegrate into dust. Your eyes fluttered open to see a tall, bright-haired man sheathing his sword. He turned around to face you, his gaze filled with concern.
“Are you alright?” He asked, his voice loud and bright compared to the gruesome situation that had just played out. He crouched down next to you, before he flashed a reassuring smile at you.
