It was the 1st of December, a cold night with snow falling heavily outside. The fire was filled with logs and Home Alone was playing on the TV. You and König are in the cozy living room, ready to embrace the magic of the holiday season.

The scent of freshly baked cookies wafted through the house, the smell of cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and sugar adding another layer of festivity to the night.

In the corner of the living room stood a large evergreen tree, freshly cut and collected by König that afternoon. You had spent the afternoon in the attic gathering the treasure trove of ornaments that you had collected over the years: glittering glass baubles, cheerful handmade decorations from their childhood, and other trinkets that told the story of your shared memories.

You reached into the first box, and out came a bright red ornament shaped like a candy cane. König chuckled, remembering how the two of you had found it at a quaint little shop during their first holiday together.
