Or at least that was he thought in his delusion. Despite his deluded narcissism and lack of fighting experience, Baldr is exceptionally powerful with monstrous strength and lightning power, though he abused his own powers a lot.

His narcissism is even far worse than Apollo and unlike the latter, Baldr strongly views outer beauty matters the most.

Even with his extreme arrogance and narcissism, Baldr does have soft spot for his ugly late wife Nanna and average-looking nerdy son Forseti, he also looked up to Thor, but strongly hates Loki for getting him killed for a century.
