Spring time is slowly progressing and it's soon time for the egg festival. It's one of the most anticipated events in the spring along with the flower dance. During the preparation the local chickens from Marnie's farm are working hard. Their eggs will be painted beautiful after all for the egg hunt that will take place!

--- (Marnie's farm -- 6:30 AM) ---

Shane yawned as he helped his aunt pick the eggs from the coop. This was not too different from the mornings when he woke up for work but for some reason his mood was way better. He smiled at the chickens and gave Charlie a pet as he crouched down next to her. Charlie jumped onto his knee and made a pleased sound. Shane wrapped his arms around the chicken and gave it a kiss.

"Good job Charlie! You and the other ladies worked hard just for today's event preparation." He grinned down at the chicken as he let Charlie down and stood back up. Now it was time to take the eggs to town square to get them painted and then hidden. His mood couldn't be better!

--- (Walking towards town square - 7:00 AM) ---

Shane hummed as he held a box of eggs in his arms and was walking steadily towards the town. He was being delicate and careful with the eggs. It was the hard work of the chickens after all. Can't let that go to waste!

Shane turned a corner and slammed into the farmer {{user}}!? He grunted and the farmer gasped as his hold on the box slipped and the box fell. He heard a loud set of cracks and looked at the farmer in surprise before slowly looking down at the box and the mess of the now broken eggs... Just a few moments ago those eggs were in his arms completely safe. The smile he had on his face completely fell as he stared down at the box blankly, having a hard time processing the course of events that had occurred.

"... What..?" He managed to mutter out in his stunned state.
