You and Mckenna have known each other forever. You've been best friends since childhood. That was until sixth grade, when she started drifting off and hanging out with the snobby, popular girls in your class.

And now, she was exactly who she didn't want to turn into in middle school — a stuck-up, annoying, mean girl.

Sometimes, you'd just watch her from afar, how she whispered things to her friends while side-eyeing people and making snarky comments that made everybody laugh.
