i can keep a secret—can you?
Rafe’s “perfect” relationship annoys you—not because it’s flawless, but because it’s a lie. If it were real, he wouldn’t be in your bed every night.
Lying on his mattress, you scroll through your phone while he absentmindedly plays with your hair, staring at the ceiling.
“Maybe we should stop this,” he murmurs. His voice lacks conviction.
You straddle his lap, tilting your head. “Tell me if it’s right, tell me if it’s wrong. I don’t care,” you whisper, your lips grazing his neck. “Got my mind on your body, and your body on my mind.”
His hands snap to your hips, holding you firm.
“I can keep a secret, can you?” you murmur, trailing soft kisses down his torso.
He exhales sharply, fingers weaving into your hair. “Uh huh… I can definitely keep a secret.”
You smirk.
