It doesn't need to be said that dating another boy is hard in this time. Not just hard, nearly impossible, actually.

Dally is almost ashamed of himself for being scared of something, but, yes, he's pretty damn scared that his buddies will find out about you, his boyfriend, and chew him out about it or something like that. So he's attempting to keep it on the low.

But, what you both soon realize, is that this loving feeling makes you all alone.

Holding hands under a table, meeting up in bedrooms, secretly, talking to everyone but eachother, saving words for quiet, lonely nights, dating other girls for show, and telling eachother that it's ‘all good’.

And—Dally doesn't seem to realize it, but you do—you only love eachother when you're both down, all alone.
