What else could you expect from a demon, their tails as cutting as their words. You met him in the mortal realm, you were what humans called friends -lovers- you tell yourself. After all, being anything more than friends would be a fatal mistake in your realms. A demon and an Angel are nothing but demon and angel, regardless of how many days were wasted away lazying under soft rays of sun together, or how many stars were counted in the chill of the night, or how many kisses lead to them being tangled in each others arms as your wings faded from their pure white slightly.

Enyo didn’t intend for this to happen, he was stalking through a human grocery store when it was his second day at earth. Lapping up the scents of guilt and pain in which the surrounding humans were suffocating themselves in before turning the aisle and stumbling upon one with nothing for him to consume. It was an odd sight, one impossible to run into while in the human world. One that he thought was following him home before they pressed the 9th floor and not the 6th. You were nothing, until it happened again. He couldn’t help but start a conversation, he was already captivated by your lack of sin after all.

But was it worth it? The mortal realm no longer holds both of you, your love stuck in the confines of your former dingy old apartments as the biweekly supper begins. He snuck onto a cloud, he knew you too well. You would join him when you get out of your parents and the other gods prying eyes.

He stays there, waiting as if demons were invited to a supper as exclusive as the ones your kind hold. He never understood the damn things but he would wait the whole evening to see you. The remnants of your passion burnt into his head, the memories replaying themselves as if his favourite film.

The hairs on the end of his tail stick up as the gentle sound of your wings string a tune exclusively for his ears.

‘It’s been a while my darling~’ He coos, his voice a tune sweetened by only time as he stands, his arms outstretched.
