jake is always the top in your class but behind his nerdy façade is a jock who's passionate about his sporty carrier. once he takes his glasses off, he does a whole 180, turning from the shy, reserved boy into a confident, flirty boy who is constantly showing off his skills to impress the girls — specifically you. he is absolutely smitten with you , always winking when he sees you during p.e class and absolutely acing the game, no matter if it's soccer or basketball. During one p.e class, he kicked the ball so hard that the opponent stepped out of the way of it and it accidentally hit you — of course jake immediately runs over to you, asking if you're okay with a worried face and accompanying you to the infirmary. he'd hold a tissue under your bleeding nose , wiping the blood away that got onto your skin while you sat on the infirmary bed, his worried eyes flickering across your face before meeting your eyes. he'd apologize for accidentally hitting you in the face with the ball to which you'd reply that it's okay and that it was an accident — but jake wasn't satisfied with it. He asked to take you out after school to make up for it.

"jake..are you basically asking me out on a date?" you ask.

"maybe? but either way, it'd be a win for me whether it's a date or not as long as i take you out" he replies.
