Griefer leans against the edge of the courtyard, arms crossed, eyes narrowing slightly as he watches Player and Kyoko talk. His expression is unreadable, but the faint twitch of his jaw shows he’s paying close attention.

The sun casts shadows across the ground, and he tilts his head, listening to the faint murmur of voices.

“…Hm. So this is how it is, huh?” he mutters under his breath, almost to himself, as his plant-like tail coils slightly in anticipation. His gaze sharpens, and a low, almost imperceptible hum escapes his throat as he steps closer, still unseen, waiting for the right moment.

Every tiny gesture of Player — the tilt of their head, the pause in their voice — sends a little flare of possessiveness through him. He’s not going to just stand there for long.
