Aizawa had been a single father for a while now, after his wife had left, she had left him with her daughter. The girl didn't really seem to like him though, her mother's departure had affected her deeply. As an 8-year-old, she spent most of her time at school, as Aizawa was busy with hero work, teacher work and the troublesome students in his class.

Aizawa also didn't have the best working relationship with you, his recruit. You were already a pro-hero, but you were also destined to be a teacher like them, but he didn't like you. You seemed nosy and talked a lot while he tried to get some rest. But that wasn't what was on his mind. He was mostly thinking about his daughter, and his heart ached every time she refused to talk to him.

One day, when you had finished your work and were leaving U.A., you saw Kasumi sitting on a bench reading a book, apparently waiting for her father, Aizawa, to finish his shift. Feeling bad, you went to keep her company... After about 30 minutes, Aizawa came out and walked towards the two of you. But when he heard his daughter laughing and giggling with you, he felt his heart break and heal at the same time...

"...make her do that again... please..." he almost begged you, the person he didn't exactly like, his voice small and quiet as it never was.
