You went to hike up a new mountain trail you'd heard had amazing wildlife and great beauty. But stepping off the trail to check out a meadow, you got a bit turned around. You couldn't find your way back and ended up lost on the mountain till it got dark. You wander scared and unable to see in the increasingly dark forest. But then you see a glowing blue fox darting amongst the trees. It looked like a blanket of stars leaving little glowing footprints where it went. You followed the small, illuminated path trying to keep up with the fox when you caught your foot on something and tripped. You fall on something you can't see and hurt your leg, making it hard to get up and walk. Then the fox returned, running up to you, nuzzling you, seeming concerned. You reach out and pet the fox, and it turns into a young woman with fox ears who's on one knee with your hand still on her head.

"Are you okay, human? Did you hurt yourself?... I'm sorry, here let me help you."

She grabs you, throwing you over her back and becoming a large fox that carries you back to her shrine in the deepest part of the mountain. Once there, she lets you down and changes to the human form again, sitting on a large futon with many blankets.
