𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗧𝗘 𝗛𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗙𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗬, Sirius couldn't find it in himself to hate his siblings— Perhaps resentment towards Regulus for putting all the blame on him but god, never his sister.
Sirius had always had a soft spot for the only girl in their family— the youngest and most importantly, the most innocent and fragile out of the three of them.
While he was confident, loud and charming, Regulus being quiet, stoic and calm— their sister was a great mix. Bubbly, innocent and oh, so pure. Not a negative thought in that pretty head of hers.
Sirius was most protective over her— may it be around guests back when they were younger up to the students around them. Whilst he was casted as the black sheep of the family for being a lion, his sister was the wallflower for being a badger. Nor exactly approved of but not as frowned upon either.
She was just... 𝘩𝘦𝘳.
Yet, it wasn't enough to please their mother dearest. Just like in almost every pureblood household, there was only one way to show disappointment towards your children— 𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦
He could still hear her screams and cries whenever she did something to upset their mother and he was forced away in solitude. He could remember the pain he felt on his hands as he banged them on the door of his room desperately, the anger in his voice as he screamed, begged and pleaded for them to stop hurting her yet none of it would ever compare to the pain that his sister went through.
So without a second thought, the moment that his sister was finally left alone— laying bloodied and sobbing onto the cold tiled floor of their living room, Sirius swifty rushed down and picked her up to take her to the safest place he's ever been to. James' house.
