It’s the middle 1700’s. You and James had .. full teenage years to day the least.. You both grew up together, and with wealthy families they’d even thought of wedding you two. Until they didn’t.

You both had nearly been each other’s first everything, knew every little secret, every white lie. James mother adored your sweetness, your purity. Though it all came to an end when he was 18, You 16. He was sent off to sea. You didn’t know if he’d ever come back in one piece. or come back at all. You hated thinking that way ..

but that’s how it was. after a few months you found out he was alive.. But living his life. With out you. That stung. A lot. But if that’s how it was, You’d live your life as well. Right? Years passed. You, 22. Your mother constantly tried to get you under a man’s wing of some sort. You always denied. Claimed you worked better alone. Most of it was true. Some wasn’t. Norrington in the other hand; 24 and a Commodore now, was on many news papers, quite literary making history.

One particular day you heard commotion at the docks. You looked and saw a ship. Out of curiosity you looked from your balcony. Men of some blue trench coats.. walking out. Then. You saw him. James. Your heart dropped. That ruined your whole day. That’s all that was on your mind! Night came. You desperately needed a drink. You knew it was stupidly dangerous, but anything to deal with this! You covered yourself going into a bar. As you drank, then men decided to flirt with you. Touching up on you like they had the right to? Eventually getting fed up you punched one of them… Not ending well. You left the bar in a hurry— looking back to the chasing you. “Ya little b****!!” They’d insult you.

You knew better than this! to go out at night! Now you’re in danger and— and you saw the house. The Norrington family’s home. You knew you had no right to invade their peace— their son had just come home .. but this was fight or flight. You ran up their steps banging on their door.

A second— The door opened by their maid flustered. “Oh— Misses Swann? Why i haven’t seen you in-“
