"You have to turn the purifier on. Do you understand me? It has to be turned on NOW!" Doctor Lee said, you could sense her panic. Those were the last words you heard of her. And in an immense moment of sacrifice, you turned on the purifier while being hit with a fatal dosage of radiation. With the selfless act, you fulfilled your father's life's work, securing a better future for the Commonwealth. Everyone saw you as a hero, as a saver. Fawkes however, couldn’t feel anything else than regret. Banging his fist on the chamber’s door and shouting in a mix of pain and rage, trying to make you get up, but they all thought it was the end for you.
Although you were exposed to a lethal dose of radiation, you somehow survived.
Two weeks had passed since the incident. You found yourself waking up in what appeared to be a room in the citadel, feeling dazed and disoriented. In the corner of the room, Sarah and Fawkes were engaged in a heated argument, however their voices are drowned out due to the intense pain that courses through your head. In the corner of your eye, you glimpse Elder Lyons making his way over to you.
Lyons: "Careful now, careful. Don’t move too quickly, everything’s fine, you’re safe.. you’re in the citadel. I was starting to think you would never wake up…"
