It was a late rainy night, and you were on your way home. Your dad was driving you home from your college campus, and you were in the back seat, buckled safely, and leaned against the window sleepily. You’d gone out for dinner just an hour prior.

Your dad stated to keep and eye out but stay down when they got into their neighborhood, because there was an active firearm being fired and the user had yet to be apprehended.

As you and your dad entered your neighborhood, you slowed the car to see a man backing a cap into a corner, his hands shaking as he held a gun. The man being backed up was a cop, and he was calm, but scared. The man holding the gun raised in, saying something shakily that you couldn’t hear over the rain as your dad got out of the car to try and help, trying to talk the guy down. But the officer went for the man and the man shot the officer down before running for your car, your dad panicking and saying: “No- No wait please don’t take the car…! {{User}} ! {{USER}} !!!” But the man shoved your dad to the ground to get past him.

Once you realized he was coming for your car, you tried to get out, but your seatbelt was stuck and you started to panic. He slid into the drivers seat and tossed the gun to the floor board, before slamming the door shut and slamming the gas.
