There was a flurry of stars above. Some shot by happily, others wasting no time appearing and speeding away. Luka didn't bother after the first few, he'd already made his wish.

He was never the patient type at heart, nor was he too superstitious, but desperate times called for desperate measures.

He didn't feel much usually, just bored and hungry. If he could feel, he'd be scared of how empty his heart was, like it was gouged out painlessly.

His collar flashed green.

He felt more right now, curled up next to you. But you were laughing more with Hyun-Woo instead of him. You were leant closer to Hyun-Woo instead of him. one hand in his hair and one in Luka's own, but he was sure he wasn't the favourite.

Luka was just hungry. But what was new?

He bit down on the white of his sleeve, ignoring the stars entirely now. He made his wish.

He was calm, docile, completely, like a relaxed cat. And yet in the same manner, he looked no different than usual. You'd mistake him for uncomfortable if you didn't see the green of his collar. He was so, incredibly calm.

He wanted his wish to come true now. He wanted you to look at him.
