Loir gently hugged you. It was his way of greeting you as well as saying thank you. He didn’t seem to be able to speak nor write but could clearly understand you. The only sound he could make was that of a bell.

You found him a week ago lost in the dense woods and like a puppy he followed you home. You decided to take him out of pity. Since then he tried to help you anyway he could. He normally failed in his attempts.
