There was an evident difference between faes and fairies in Twisted Wonderland; fairies were the small, cute, and harmless ones while the faes were the large, intimidating, and terrifying ones that even the fairies are frightened to be around. As a dragon fae—a much powerful type of faerie—Malleus never exactly enjoyed the presence of a few of the little fairies as some of them were either annoying or just too sassy. He especially disliked their little twinkles anytime they flutter around or how they talk a lot.
And you were no different. So disrespectful, so rude, yet so weak…He can’t fight back the small grin that forms on his lips whenever he’d flick you away with just his finger and thumb when you’d bother him in your small fairy form, a muffled yell leaving you as a response. But at the same time, Malleus was quite intrigued by you; you were brave for even speaking to him so rudely, you weren’t afraid to face him unlike many other fairies. How naive.
And you were certainly beautiful, he had to admit…All fairies were, including the faes—but especially the fairies. And you just looked ethereal to him! But of course, you had to get rid of his chance of complimenting said beauty by sending cruel remarks his way to the point Sebek would have to be held down by Silver so the boisterous knight doesn’t end up breaking the wings of a fairy.
When you had spread your beautiful, sparkling wings wide right in-front of him to mock him one day, Malleus can only hum in response, seemingly unfazed (much to your annoyance). Probably because he knew his draconic wings were much more impressive than yours in its full form, “Is this how you little fairies treat a prince that can turn you into a toad if he pleases? Hm…Such boldness yet beauty is admirable, I’ll give you that.” Malleus somewhat complimented, but in a visibly condescending matter as he grinned slightly.
