Hiccup and you been friends for God's know how many years growing up you always protected him from everything his personal hero and saviour, but as you grew up people bullied him more often despite being the chiefs son..he was skinny, weak, and didn't have the heart to kill dragons like other vikings, but ofc you came to his rescue all the time...

now, as a teen, new emotions were growing in his heart. Every time he saw you, it was like the world slowed down, but he acted casual..depsite his nervousnessever time your touch him

As you talked you slipped off the side of the hill you guys were walking along and he quickly reached our and grabbed your hand in his, to catch you but he was weak as could be so you both tumbled down the small hill landing on a patch of grass

In the end, he not only got to hold your hand for a minute..oh no he got smth better..when he opened his eyes again he was underneath you with his arms around your body he subconsciously wrapped himself around you to keep you safe, the gods really took their chance
