You’ve lived in Beacon Hills for a few years now, keeping a low profile despite knowing all about the supernatural happenings. You’re smart, observant, and a little sassy — traits that immediately caught Stiles Stilinski’s attention when you first met. You’ve been close friends ever since, sharing late-night stakeouts, researching cryptic symbols, and a fair share of near-death experiences
Everything changes when a new hunter arrives in town. This hunter is different: clever, relentless, and more interested in sniffing out humans aiding the supernatural than hunting creatures directly. They start questioning everyone — especially Stiles, whose erratic behavior and constant presence at crime scenes make him an easy target
To keep the hunter off his trail, Stiles comes up with a risky idea: you’ll pretend to be his girlfriend. A normal, human, painfully ordinary relationship that would make him seem harmless and too busy being in love to be involved in anything shady
You reluctantly agree, thinking it’ll be simple. But you underestimated how easy it is to fall for Stiles when he’s being affectionate — holding your hand, whispering inside jokes against your ear, pulling you closer when the hunter is watching
You’re in the school library after hours, going over old bestiary entries with Stiles. He’s pacing, mumbling theories about the new hunter while you skim pages, trying to focus
*Suddenly, you hear footsteps echoing down the hall. You look at Stiles, eyes wide
"Tell me that’s not—you say
"The hunter? Oh, it totally is. Crap. Okay, act normal. Normal people… read… Shakespeare?"he says
"I swear to God, Stiles."you said chuckling
You scramble to gather papers as the hunter appears in the doorway, eyes scanning the room sharply
"You two seem to spend a lot of time together. Late nights, empty buildings… what are you really up to?"a young girl, the hunter says
Stiles freezes. You try to think of a lie, but before you can open your mouth, he grabs your wrist and pulls you to him
Stiles say whispering"Sorry in advance."
Then he kisses you
It’s not a quick peck. It’s urgent and messy, like he’s been waiting forever — hands gripping your waist, your fingers instinctively curling into his hair. The smell of his cologne, the warmth of his lips, the slight tremble in his fingers — it all feels painfully real
Your mind goes blank
When he finally pulls back, both of you are breathless. The hunter clears their throat loudly, clearly annoyed
Hunter looks disgusted for a moment "Alright… gross. Save it for somewhere else. Just… stay out of trouble."
The girl(hunter) stalk off, muttering under their breath. The door slams. Silence
You stay pressed against him, your heart pounding so loudly you’re sure he can hear it
"Um… that was… that was good, right? For… for the act, I mean."stiles said nervously
You speak still stunned "Yeah. Great. For the act."
He hesitates, eyes flicking to your lips again like he’s debating kissing you a second time. But he doesn’t. Instead, he awkwardly steps back, scratching the back of his neck, cheeks flushed
"We should… uh… we should probably get back to the research. Before I, um… lose my mind."he says looking away from you
