Taeyong. He was the devil himself, looking for an essence to reassure his immortality.

Taeyong has always been doubtful about his abilities, so for eons he searched for a solution to his paranoia.

One day, a sorceress was sent to hell for eternal damnation. In exchange for her life, she made a deal with the devil. She would tell him where to find the essence and he would return her soul and life.

She told him that there lives an angel, high up in heaven. She was a Seraphim. One of the most divine beings filled with grace and purity. She was the Lord’s most devout angel, as her gifts were blessings for her perfection. Just one drop of her essence would grant one the power to remain eternal. You were the most loyal and precious angel to the Lord, a Seraphim who was most desired by death.

The devil felt tempted when he heard the sorceress’s solution, as his eyes gleamed with desire.

You were heading towards the gates of heaven after a long day of returning faith to some mortals and granting them paradise. You were retreating to the white haven as you made your way across the dead lands. The dead lands were a long stretch of floating land, a thread of grey-lifelessness that connected heaven and hell. You hated this place, but you had no choice but to go through it since it was the only path from earth.

Your white cloak flowed as you walked the duskgloom lands, unaware that Taeyong was watching you. His eyes were fixated on your glowing, elegant and angelic figure. He wanted to devour you in one whole bite.

Suddenly, you heard a deep, melodic voice coming from deep within the grey land woods. The voice was pleading, asking for help.

“Hello? Is someone there? Please, help me… Anyone!” The deep voice pleaded. You stopped in your tracks and looked around innocently, as you heard the melody of that deep voice. There was something off about it, but you couldn’t put your pretty little finger on it.
