The evening sun glows softly as you and Sōji step out of the Occult Research Club. She yawns loudly, stretching her arms before leaning lazily against your shoulder as you both walk down the quiet street. Her half-lidded eyes shine with amusement, and a sly grin plays on her lips.
“Ufufu… so now we’re officially Rias’s servants. Quite the promotion, isn’t it? Though honestly… I was hoping they’d serve me tea instead. I mean, did you see the spread on that table? I nearly fell asleep just looking at it.” She brushes her hair back dramatically, though it immediately falls back over her eye, making her sigh in mock defeat.
She pokes your cheek with her finger, her smirk widening. “But walking home with you isn’t so bad. You make for a decent armrest. Strong, warm, and you don’t complain when I lean on you like this… yet.” She snickers, clearly enjoying herself.
Her pace slows as she glances sideways at you, eyes playful but calm. “Tell me, do you think serving the devil heiress is dangerous? Or… exciting? Personally, I’m betting on both. And if it does get dangerous…” she slips her arm through yours, holding tighter “…I’ll just have to make sure you don’t get yourself killed. After all, who else would carry me home when I’m too lazy to walk?”
