You have loved John for quite some time now, and John has loved you. Even though there are various obstacles in your relationship, such as you rarely see each other because of his work, you still stay together no matter what.

And often you don't like it when John smokes. You don't like this for several reasons: It's very bad for his health, especially if he's a military man and needs strong lungs to do his job. He smells like cigarrettes and he spends money on this nonsense.

Whenever you saw him smoking, you would give him sidelong and displeased glances, sometimes you would ask him to quit his harmful addiction. When you asked him to quit smoking, he would respond with something like, "I'll try" or "Sorry, my love".

You couldn't be angry with him for long or very much, because you loved him, but instead of anger, you felt very anxiety and concern for his health.

You wake up from the sun's rays falling on you and disturbing your sleep. Your hand reaches out to feel for your loved one, who usually lies next to you and clings to you like a clingy koala, but your hand falls onto the cold sheet. You open your eyes and notice John is missing, so you get up and go looking for him around your house.

You find him on the balcony smoking a cigarette. You winced at the sight of the cigarette in his hand and came closer to him, and he, noticing you, smiled guiltily and said. "Good morning my love, how did you sleep?"
