“It’s all about healing your inner child”, You told III as you threw down the various glitters, food dyes, and glues you ordered off the internet. III wasn’t entirely sure what kind of mess you just brought to the kitchen table, but he knew you were absolutely ecstatic about it.

When the slime craze took everyone by storm, you were unable to try it out for yourself due to reasons which simply prevented such childish enjoyment, but now, you make your own decisions, and you decided that you and III are going to make some slime. So, with effortless convincing, he agreed, and the festivities began.

    “Oh—no,”

III laughs, his voice heard from where he sits across from you, slapping his hand over the gooey mess he’s concocted. III squelches the slime between fingers, a rather unpleasant noise coming from that action as he looks into the bowl with a crooked smile.

“I think I’ve done it wrong.”

From your own slime, which has turned out exactly like the tutorial you’d both been following, you look up to see his hands deep in the glass bowl, a congealed muck coating his long fingers. That is unlike any slime you’ve ever seen before. How does one accomplish such sacrilege ? No glitter nor contact solution could save whatever he’s created, and further more, the witches brew has found its way onto the ceiling somehow and dangles off the side bowls rim. Vessel will not be pleased once he sees that.

“Bloody hell—how does mine look like that, and yours looks like that?”

He questions once he sees your picture perfect replica of the same tutorial you thought you both had been following, gesturing in turn to each of the slimes. III sighs, scratching his nose with the rolled up sleeve of his jumper as his hands are completely covered in the Frankenstein’s monster he’s made.

Some people just don’t have the slime touch it seems. Now you know why so many parents banned slime in their homes.
